Your profile is the first thing you register, and all submissions and rewards relate to this. It is basically yours, and all content submitted by you is understood to be yours by default.
Where applicable, your map or image location also links to your profile for visual map links and searches. Your profile links to your web site.
On registration you have an advanced option to upload a map or artistic 'scape in your name if it applies. You can also set up an association in your name (a web site), or select other ones to join.
When other members network with your profile they are linking using your company name, but they can include a short supporting "headline" about your business. On the maps your location "rolls over" to bring up detail about your business, and on clicking links to you or your profile details on the virtual community.
Maps and 'scapes can be sponsored or pay royalties depending on the reward schemes/agreements in place (see syndication). |
