DIRECTORIES, INTERACTIVE PLACES, PRODUCTS & SEO
The directories are the "building blocks" that make collaborative tools and projects possible. How you benefit depends on who you are and what you do.
To participate log in. The tools and content management suites can be configured to match up with what you do: professional, educational, commercial, property ... and can be used straightaway to promote your organisation on the networks and communities. The tools can be used to build applications and manage content on your web site. The district itself can be plugged in to your web site whereby it reflects your selections relating to what you do, or think is important in your area.
These directory examples use representations of places that have been uploaded using the interactive visual application, but you can use google maps as a basis - with these directories we have combined the two if you visit them.

The combination of networked visuals, directories and your own networks sets up highly relevant links and associations, that is, relevant to your area and to you, which combined can make for highly effective SEO (search engine optimization). Every aspect of content posted is placed in context.
We have taken this a number of steps further still:
- The interactive district can be plugged into into members' (your) web sites to promote partners or selected content you think is important.
- All content can be managed on behalf of members by members, locally and globally.
- All content and structure is available as a framework* we call "onekana". This means that designers can design the applications and content into their own web designs, and application developers can apply it to their applications.
- Web 2 services like Facebook, Googlemaps, and Twitter plugins can be included with our Global District plugin to combine them in a community / business networking section on your web site,
- and for property developers and commercial zones this lets you add a community or directory or economic development dimension to your developments, while promoting them.
